ONeil Codex Connection is a private internal integration operated by O’Neil Industries Inc. It is intended solely for the company owner to review the company’s QuickBooks Online accounting information. It is not offered to customers or the public.
Information accessed and purpose
The integration accesses accounting information requested by the owner, which may include accounts, balances, transactions, financial reports, and related customer or vendor information. This information is used for internal financial analysis and reporting.
Processing and storage
The MCP server runs on the owner’s computer and connects to QuickBooks Online using Intuit authorization. Connection credentials and tokens are stored locally.
Information retrieved for analysis is provided to OpenAI through Codex. It may also appear in saved conversations and exported reports. OpenAI’s processing and retention depend on the account’s applicable terms, settings, and data controls. Data therefore does not remain exclusively on the owner’s computer.
The integration does not sell accounting information or use it for advertising.
Access and retention
Use is restricted to the company owner. Local credentials, saved reports, and conversation records must be protected against unauthorized access.
Records are retained as needed for internal business purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Copies held by service providers are subject to their applicable retention policies.
Disconnection and deletion
The owner may revoke the integration’s authorization through QuickBooks and remove its local credentials and saved files. Saved Codex conversations and exports must be managed separately. Disconnecting the integration does not automatically delete previously retrieved information or the original QuickBooks records.
